lining up: This is a hospital-employedfull-time clinical urology
position at Baptist Health — full clinical pay, RVU bonuses, call
pay, and a total package that hits $750K. And because the universe
has a sense of humor, you also get a UAB faculty appointment.
Prestige without publish-or-perish. Academic title without the
academic treadmill. Grand Rounds without grading papers. Call:Half
the month shared with your partners. A urology hospitalist covers
the other two weeks so you can remember what weekends feel like.
Time off: Forty-nine days. Yes, really. No, it’s not a typo. Yes,
you can tell your friends. You’ll join two dynamic partners (the
other two retired — don’t worry, it wasn’t the job). You’ll work in
modern offices with four NPs who keep clinic humming, and a robotic
OR team that knows the da Vinci better than most people know their
own Netflix password. Your clinical world includes: - A 500-bed
Level II trauma center - A 174-bed hospital 20 minutes away And the
backdrop: Montgomery. A metro of 400,000 with culture, great food,
the Shakespeare Festival, the Montgomery Symphony, the Robert Trent
Jones Golf Trail, and Lake Martin’s 600 miles of shoreline. Plus:
no traffic, no chaos, and no $8 lattes unless you want them. Two
and a half hours to Atlanta. Three hours to the Gulf Coast beaches.
Close enough for fun, far enough to avoid the headaches. This
