Job Description:
Job Description We are seeking a Registered Mental Health
Counselor Intern (RMHCI) to join a well-established private
practice in Jacksonville, Florida . This position is ideal for a
motivated clinician who has completed their master’s degree and is
ready to grow their clinical skills while working toward full
licensure. Our practice provides a professional, collaborative
environment where clinicians can develop strong therapeutic skills,
build a consistent caseload, and gain meaningful experience working
with a diverse client population. Clinicians within the practice
are also Florida Qualified Supervisors (QS) and are able to provide
the required clinical supervision, if needed, for licensure as a
Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida. We are
looking for clinicians who are compassionate, motivated to learn,
and committed to providing high-quality care. Compensation is based
on caseload. This is a 1099 position that will allow the ideal
client to determine their caseload commitment. What We Offer: •

Responsibilities: • Provide individual counseling to clients in an
outpatient setting • Conduct intake assessments and develop
treatment plans • Maintain accurate and timely clinical
documentation • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches
appropriate to client needs • Maintain ethical standards and
confidentiality in accordance with Florida regulations • Keep in
good standing with required clinical supervision toward licensure
Minimum Requirements: • Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling
or closely related field • Registered Mental Health Counselor
Intern (RMHCI) with the State of Florida • Eligible to practice in
the state of Florida • Professional liability insurance (or ability
to obtain) • Strong interpersonal and communication skills •
Commitment to ethical and client-centered care Preferred
Qualifications: • Interest or experience in trauma-informed therapy
• Training in CBT, DBT, EMDR, or other evidence-based modalities •
Experience working with adults, professionals, or first responders

developing a long-term career in private practice This position is
a 1099 independent contractor role. Clinicians are compensated at a
flat competitive rate per client session, regardless of insurance
reimbursement rates. Compensation details will be discussed during
the interview process. Please note: • This role does not include
medical benefits • Contractors are responsible for managing their
own taxes and benefits • Clinicians have flexibility in scheduling
and caseload development
