Registered Nurse license in the State of Alabama or compact license
Certifications: AHA BLS or Red Cross certification required
Must-Have: - Associated degree in nursing - 1 year of recent
experience in cardiac telemetry or related area Description: The
position involves providing care in a cardiac medical unit focusing
on cardiac telemetry. Nurses will have a patient-to-nurse ratio of
1:6. The patient population primarily consists of individuals with
cardiac conditions such as chest pain, shortness of breath,
palpitations, and various cardiac arrhythmias. Nurses will also
care for patients with other medical conditions including
pneumonia, gastrointestinal issues, chronic obstructive pulmonary
disease, diabetes, and occasional stroke, as well as surgical
patients. Collaboration with a dedicated team of nursing and
ancillary staff is essential to provide patient-centered care. The
goal is to support each patient's recovery and optimize patient
outcomes. Nurses must be willing to float to other units and
hospitals as necessary. Weekend shifts and holiday coverage may be
