Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: Birmingham, AL Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,829 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/6/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Birmingham, Alabama, 35211! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: PCU - Cardiac Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN License Certifications: AHA BLS and AHA ACLS Must-Have Skills/Experience: Telemetry Cardiac drips Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse for a PCU - Cardiac position. The role involves caring for patients with cardiac conditions. You will work with telemetry and manage cardiac drips. You will be part of a dedicated team providing quality patient care. You will work in a unit with a 4:1 to 5:1 patient-to-nurse ratio. The unit is equipped with Alaris pumps and Omnicell. Experience with EPIC EMR is preferred. You will be expected to work every other weekend. This position does not require call. Dress code is navy scrubs. Adherence to the fingernail policy is required.
