The retail segment, which operates in seven states, markets motor fuel and convenience merchandise through a network of approximately 350 company-operated convenience store locations operated under the MAPCO Express, MAPCO Mart, Fast Food and Fuel, Favorite Markets, Delta Express and Discount Food Mart brand names. Position OverviewPosition Responsibilities: A Food Service Leader is responsible for executing food and beverage operations within MAPCO convenience store locations to help drive food and beverage sales and profitability. This includes but is not limited to: - Positive interaction with customers. - Ensuring that hot/cold grab n go, hot/cold beverage stations, and hot dog roller grills are clean, maintained, and well stocked. - Maintaining MAPCO uniform and personal appearance standards. - Preparing and serving food to customers quickly and safely. - Adhering to MAPCO, Federal, State, and local Health Department policies and codes. - Keeping products properly rotated using FIFO (first in, first out). - Keeping restrooms clean and stocked. - Performing routine maintenance on equipment. - Ensuring the proper handling of prepared and unprepared food and beverages according to published operational procedures and guidelines. - Keeping all surfaces clean to the touch and clear of debris. - Friendly (smile and eye contact when interacting with customers).- Other duties as assigned. Essential Functions Standing/Walking 50% Lifting up to 40 pounds 10% Bending 10% Sitting 10% Squatting/Stooping 5% Climbing 5% Reaching 10% Educational Qualifications and Experience: - Shows enthusiasm toward working with customers - Currently in High School, High School Diploma, or GED - 3+ years of food and beverage or restaurant experience preferred - Ability to learn tasks from hands-on training, online instruction, and using job aids - Attention to detail to ensure all tasks are completed to standard and in a timely manner - Ability to learn food and beverage product descriptions and names to better serve customers Please email resumes to brian.huhnke@mapcoexpress.com .
