Affiliates (SCA) has transformed itself into a leader in ambulatory
surgical centers, surgical hospitals, and hospital-system
partnerships. With Service Excellence as one of our core values, we
are transforming the current Information Technology department to
better position SCA as the industry leader in surgical care. Our IT
team is focused on providing our partnerships and management teams
with timely, quality technology support that is reliable and
helpful. We are seeking an associate data developer to develop
solutions using Microsoft stack tools and applications. The purpose
of this position is to provide relevant, useful and accurate data
solutions to various SCA business units, affiliates, and partners.
The individual chosen to fill this position must be willing to take
direction on various projects, lead development efforts, provide
production support as required, and operate in a fluid and dynamic
environment. This position is primarily responsible for:Developing,
modifying, and supporting existing data processes utilizing
established standards and toolsDelivering on high visibility
projects in an efficient and effective mannerProviding support and
guidance concerning data, data solutions, and data
analysisDeveloping and maintaining documentation that can be
digested at all levels of the organization QualificationsMinimum
QualificationsEducation, Training and Experience:Bachelors Degree
in Computer Information Systems, or equivalent, with 1+ years
practical experience in a live business environment.Knowledge,
Abilities & Skills:Relational database conceptsModern data
warehousing conceptsMicrosoft SQL Server 2016 and higher (T-SQL,
SSIS, and SSRS)Physical Requirements:Must be able to operate a
computer for prolonged periods of time. Must be able to travel
occasionally, as needed.Other Qualifications:Microsoft data-centric
certificationsExperience w/ CozyRoc SSIS+ and NoW, Azure Event Hub,
and KafkaExperience using Microsoft Azure DevOps for data
projectsExperience using third-party APIs as a data ingestion
sourceExperience w/ PowerBI Reporting Server, PowerBI, and
TableauExperience using Redgate tools including SQL Source Control,
Flyway, and DeployExperience with Microsoft Power
AutomateUnderstanding of Ambulatory Surgical Center and Practice
Management systems data structures and accountingOther
Skills:Ability to gather requirements from stakeholders and
translate them into technical specificationsAbility to work with
project managers to accurately evaluate, breakdown, and scope
