Description

Systems Administrator IHybrid Position - Alabama
Primary Job Role: Manage, implement, and support existing and newly acquired server hardware and software systems, as well as administration for all Credit Union locations by utilizing available tools and skills to continually monitor and ensure that all network components are operating at peak performance. Will assist management with the identification of new technology or changes in existing configurations to enhance ability to provide outstanding customer service and increase end user efficiency.
Functions & Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate knowledge in administering MS Exchange and Office 365 environments along with mailbox policy and email archiving best practices.
• Demonstrate knowledge of storage architecture platforms (EMC) and file archiving methods.
• Administer experience for windows server versions.
• Demonstrate knowledge of virtual platforms and architectures including VMWare and ESX/ESXi.
• Knowledge of Windows Active Directory domain structures and administering users, objects, groups, roles, and permissions.
• Demonstrate knowledge of antivirus applications.
• Complete, trouble shoot, monitor, and maintain documentation (including illustrations) of Credit Union's LAN/WAN.
• Demonstrate basic knowledge of SQL Databases.
• Understanding of common backup and restore procedures.
• Develop timeline and procedures for completing applicable projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

  Basic Requirements:
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal skills, positive attitude, pleasant demeanor, decisiveness, and professionalism.
    Experience: Three years to five years of similar or related experience.
    
    Education: (1) A bachelor's degree, or (2) achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree (e.g. information technology certifications in lieu of a degree).
