We are seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to join our Digital Thread team. This position will be located in Manhattan Beach, CA. This is an agile development team using modern development practices. The ideal candidate will have a background in software engineering, full stack web development to deliver complex data solutions. The Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of data-driven projects.

--- Be actively involved in the efforts associated with Agile development, including iteration planning and status
--- Build and integrate microservices and REST APIs to support application functionality.
--- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs in collaboration with front-end teams.

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
Basic Qualifications:
Software Engineer:

--- 2 years experience in software engineering with Bachelors in relevant field of study; 1 year with Masters or 4 additional years in lieu of a degree.
--- Experience in software development (full stack development, front-end application development, web development, etc.)
--- Experience with React and/or NextJS and proven fluency TypeScript development
--- Experience consuming and developing RESTful APIs
--- Experience programming in scripting languages (Python, JavaScript).
--- Experience with Database Management prefers Neo4j
--- Experience with Container Management (Dockers and Docker-Compose) and networking with containers
--- Experience with/using Agile Methodology and Continuous Integration (CI) / Continuous Deployment (CD) Tools (Jenkins, Gitlab) and Practices
--- Comfortable using git, including branching, merging, and resolving merge conflicts
--- Must be a US Citizen with an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application with an investigation completed within the last 6 years
--- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time as determined by the company to meet its business need
Principal Software Engineer:

--- 5 years experience in software engineering with Bachelors in relevant field of study; 3 Years with Masters, 1 Years with PhD or 04 additional years in lieu of a degree.
--- Experience in software development (full stack development, front-end application development, web development, etc.)

--- Experience with requirements tools, such as DOORs.
--- Experience developing solutions for a hybrid on-premises/AWS environment.
--- Experience with UI/UX design.
--- Top Secret clearance.

Salary Range: $89,400.00 - $134,200.00Salary Range 2: $110,300.00 - $165,500.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
