This position can be located in any state we have an office and can
be fully remote or hybrid. The Position: We are seeking a highly
skilled and experienced Appellate Attorney to join our team. The
ideal candidate will bring strong trial and appellate capabilities,
the ability to take ownership of active matters, and experience in
managing and mentoring junior attorneys and legal staff. This role
requires someone who can step into existing cases, lead litigation
strategy, and oversee all phases of the legal process through
appeal. Key Responsibilities: Provide strategic direction on
litigation and appellate matters Serve as lead appellate counsel on
matters in both federal and state trial and appellate courts Manage
all stages of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion
practice, settlement negotiations, trial, and appeal Draft and
argue complex motions at the trial and appellate court levels
Appear in court for hearings, trials, and appellate arguments
Supervise and mentor junior attorneys, paralegals, and support
staff Review and manage case files, ensuring timely progress and
compliance with deadlines and client requirements Communicate
effectively with clients, co-counsel, and opposing counsel Required
Qualifications: J.D. from an accredited law school Preferred
Federal Court clerking experience at District or Court of Appeals
Licensed and in good standing to practice law in state of residence
Minimum 10 years of litigation and appellate experience,
(preferably with some federal level experience) Demonstrated
ability to oversee multiple matters simultaneously Willingness to
assist with managing a national docket Intellectual curiosity
Exceptional legal writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills
Experience in one or more of the following areas: products
liability, breach of contract, and torts Experience with
high-stakes or high-profile litigation Comfortable working
