Job Description:
Job Description Metric Geo are looking for a superintendent who
would be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of
asphalt paving projects, ensuring they are completed on time,
within budget, and according to specifications. Key
Responsibilities: Project Coordination: Plan, coordinate, and
supervise on-site functions, including scheduling, material
control, and day-to-day direction of field personnel. Crew
Management: Arrange the work of one or more paving crews and
coordinate activities of workers engaged in spreading, rolling,
tamping, and patching asphalt to form surfaces of highways,
streets, parking lots, and driveways. Resource Management: Liaise
with other departments and plants to ensure all required materials,
equipment, and inspections support the project schedule.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of project progress,
materials used, and costs, adjusting work schedules as
necessary.
