Personnel Services is looking for a Welder/Fitter for a company
based in Decatur, AL. In this role, you will have the opportunity
to read blueprints, cut, and shape precisely fit metal components,
then weld them together. Pay Rate $20.00 or more based on
experience Schedule and Hours Monday through Friday, 6 00 am to 2
30 pm. Welder/Fitter Duties and Responsibilities - Read and
interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders. -
Perform MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding on steel, stainless steel,
and aluminum. - Fabricate parts using saws, grinders, drills, and
other shop equipment. - Measure, cut, and assemble materials to
specification. - Inspect finish welds to ensure structural
soundness and dimensional accuracy. Welder/Fitter Qualifications
and Requirements - 2 years of welding and fabrication experience. -
Proficiency in MIG welding (TIG experience preferred) - Ability to
read and interpret blueprints. - Strong measuring and layout
skills. - Ability to stand for long periods of time. Job Type
