Job Description:
Drax Group plc, a leader in sustainable energy, is seeking a
dedicated Pellet Mill Operator I to enhance our biomass production
team in the United Kingdom. This role focuses on operating and
maintaining our pellet mill machinery efficiently to support our
goal of achieving a zero-carbon, lower-cost energy future. The
successful candidate will be pivotal in ensuring consistent,
high-quality biomass pellet production essential for our bioenergy
operations. Operate pellet mill equipment following all safety
guidelines and operational procedures. Monitor machinery for
performance issues and conduct minor repairs to ensure continuous
operations. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to
industry regulations and company policies. Record production data
accurately for compliance and performance tracking. Work closely
with the maintenance team to schedule regular machinery inspections
and preventive maintenance. Proficiency in operating pellet mill
machinery and basic mechanical tools. Strong attention to detail
for monitoring equipment and recording data. Ability to work in a
team and communicate effectively. Problem-solving skills and the
ability to perform minor repairs. Medical Insurance Dental
