Job Description This position is a part of the Production, Planning and Control organization as a leader managing the internal Make Planning and Material Handling teams within multiple production programs on site. This position will also be the deputy to the Senior Production, Planning and Control Manager. What You Will Be Doing As the Manufacturing Planner Manager, you will be responsible for leading the internal Make Planning and Material Handling teams, overseeing manufacturing planning, production support, and material handling and distribution to the production floor. You will also be responsible for driving continuous improvement and managing a team of approximately 20-30 reports. MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start. Basic Qualifications Typical minimum of 8 years of related experience and may have a post-secondary degree or training in a related discipline. Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance. Lockheed Martin will assist candidate with obtaining at least an Interim Secret Clearance prior to starting. Extensive working knowledge of Material Resource Planning, production scheduling, material flow principles, and shop floor control. Previous experience leading a multi-shift team. Experience with SAP or MRP equivalent, specifically in the areas of Materials Management and Production Planning. Demonstrated ability and experience communicating with multiple levels of leadership, customers and peers across different functional areas effectively on multiple platforms. Demonstrated ability to make effective decisions. Experience with presenting data to multifunctional audiences to include leadership, peers, and customers. Candidate must be able to pass a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (“ATF”) background check to obtain approval to be an “employee possessor” (of explosives or other ATF-regulated items) as defined by ATF regulations. Failure to obtain and retain employee possessor status may result in revocation of an offer and loss of employment. Desired skills Working knowledge of Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control Production Operations. Experience using SAP and Apriso Warehouse Management and Manufacturing Execution Systems. Ability to work remotely Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedule Information Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Security Clearance Information This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $106,100 - $187,105. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
