with more than a dozen new projects in development.. Job
Requirements:. Lead the finance function and make strategic
business decisions. Ensure compliance with Aparium policies and
procedures and all applicable laws. Coordinate and liaise with
internal & external audits. Negotiate, administer and monitor
contracts with hotel's vendors. Create, administer, maintain and
enforce legal and finance compliance initiatives, policies and
procedures (including SOX, PCI and other legal financial
reporting). Advise management of tax code revisions and desirable
operational adjustments. Prepare annual budgets and monthly
forecasts; establish and recommend to management on major economic
objectives and policies for the Hotel. Collaborate with VP of
Finance, GM and hotel financial goals through reports and advising.
Prepare reports required by regulatory agencies. Act as liaison to
hotel owners, other hotel departments and assist with finance
department and hotel related issues. Safeguard hotel resources &
assets and risk management assessments. Ensure timely payment &
file all federal, state & local sales taxes & fees, payroll and
vendor invoices. Ensure Management Agreement compliance. Aptitude
for maintaining accurate information related to files, internal
hotel needs, as well as required forms. Additional Requirements:.

required tasks. Work with integrity, confidentiality and
discretion. Work in a safe, prudent and highly organized manor.
Superior oral, written and computer skills. Guide and monitor
business ethics and good business practice. Conduct self in a most
professional manner at all times to reflect the hotel standards.
Highly organized and has the ability to plan multiple activities
and meet deadlines with the ability to maintain a positive and
professional demeanor at all times. Participate in Lobby Duty
Program. Available to cross train as directed. Teamwork:. Maintain
a good working relationship with other associates by promoting
teamwork and fostering a harmonious working climate. Partake in a
positive work ethic and surrounding environment. Standards:. Able
to work alone without direct supervision. Demonstrate high degree
of drive and determination. Constantly recommend service and
product improvement to better the operation. Keep the work area
clean and tidy at all times. Attend all required meetings. Follow
proper payroll and uniform procedures. Properly handle and report
associate and guest accidents. Maintain complete knowledge of and
comply with all departmental polices/service procedures/standards.
Assist with responsibilities and duties in other departments and as
assigned by management. Due to the cyclical nature of the
hospitality industry, associates may be required to work varying
schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel. Educational
Requirements:. A 4 year college degree with an emphasis in Finance,
Accounting or Hospitality Management preferred. A minimum of 5
years of progressive Finance management experience. Previous
Hotel/Hospitality financial management preferred. Must be
proficient in Word, Excel and other applicable computer systems..
Budgetary analysis capabilities required. Must be able to define
problems, collect data, establish facts and draw conclusions.
