Sales & Operations in Financial Services Internal Sales Vice President, Highland Capital BrokerageLocation: ALL LOCATIONS & REMOTESummary: We have an opportunity for an Internal Sales Vice President within Highland Capital Brokerage, a member of Advisor Group. The Internal Sales Vice President are considered "hunters" focused on increasing revenue for our entire organization for all case sizes. They will provide point of sale support and position themselves as insurance planning partner to financial professionals and their clients. Additionally, they will provide wholesale support depending on the client and work with producers in any/all channels to do business and repeat business with us over time. The Internal Sales Vice President will also leverage opportunities through analytics and Power of BI reporting/intel and learn and tell the entire HCB story to encompass our overall platform and product offerings (Life, DI, LTC, & Annuities (to some extent). This position supports and markets initiatives and programs in conjunction with HCB Management and applicable HCB channel leaders. It is key to conduct outbound calls and marketing campaigns to get new business and cultivate and support existing clients they are working with. Must be able to reach many producers via phone/Linked In/emails/video chat (90%-95% warm leads/5%-10% cold).Responsibilities: * Focused on proactive insurance business development for producers* Dedicated person(s) that can assist with virtual point of sale with advisors and clients to help open and close cases if needed* Provide virtual education and training on products, basic sales concepts, field underwriting resources, and technology offerings to producers* Assists with our proprietary policy review service offering for existing clientele* Will be a proactive partner on marketing and sales initiatives we co-collaborate on with firms (at times driven from the Top- Down with Management)* Will help producers with navigating product selection and case design as well as assist with our underwriting and new business team on best carrier choice for their clients* Must call a minimum of 75 clients per week that we are trying to get more business from (this can be part of initiatives, campaigns, accounts we support from a national perspective, etc.)* Must host a minimum of 10 screen shares/video chat appointments per month of one on one workshops via MS Teams/Zoom with producers with topics/ideas/quotes* Create a monthly marketing plan(s) for key accounts and producers* Execute once a week on monthly marketing plan to clients/prospects by utilizing HCB resources not limited to BombBomb, HCB Blog & other marketing content and resources posted on HCB website* Help facilitate closing of cases in individual pending pipeline and communicate status and manage expectations of clients through process* Partner with VPs in team based selling approach when appropriate with guidance of Management* Answer 800# in a timely fashion* Answer Web requests and leads through portal (each person has a day assigned to them)* Must use One Drive/SharePoint for storage of documents* Must log ALL illustrations and outbound/inbound phone and web activity in CRM* Must be able to run a monthly report from CRM on all activity for Management on a regular basis* Must join and participate in monthly team call (listen to recording when cannot attend)* Team player among their peers on team and within the company with other business units* All other duties as assignedEducation and License Requirements: * Bachelor's degree preferred, H.S. diploma or GED certificate + significant practical experience will be consideredBasic Requirements: * 5+ years of sales experience in life insurance industry* Series 6, Series 63, Life, Accident & Health licenses* Proficient in using CRM systems, Excel, PowerPoint, Zoom or Microsoft Teams* Self-starter, actively pursuing sales outlets and opportunities, and creating new relationships that result in sales and increased target premiums* Demonstrate confidence and tenacity to continue to strengthen relationships with clients* Knowledge of new business and underwriting process with the ability to effectively re-analyze the case when it is different than applied for* Intermediate level to advanced knowledge of insurance products and technical planning techniquesPreferred Requirements: * Any of the following designations: CLU, ChFC or CFP* Series 7 and/or Series 24 a plusBe A Part Of The Team Behind Our Success!
