Job Description Check Depot, a locally owned financial services company, is seeking tellers who are genuinely excited about helping others, energetic, ambitious, professional, self motivated and who also possess a People-First Attitude to join the Check Depot team Responsibilities and Duties As a branch teller/customer service representative, you will be responsible for all aspects of delivering our products to customers through personalized customer service, including cashing checks, making payday and title loans, and providing other services such as money orders, Western Union, and bill payments. Customer satisfaction and product sales is an integral part of day to day business. You will listen carefully to customers to understand their financial needs and recommend products and solutions that will benefit them. You will be responsible for collecting on past due loans as well as other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications and Skills Qualified Candidates must have: Excellent customer service skills At least 6 months experience in the Financial Services industry with check cashing, payday lending, and/or title pawn knowledge The ability to identify customer financial needs and engage in a sales and service process The ability to manage time and careful attention to detail Computer and typing proficiency Good cash handling skills Neat and professional appearance Ability to pass reference and drug testing Ability to read, write, and speak Spanish fluently is a plus but not required Reliable transportation Benefits We offer an excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance. Performance incentives and $500.00 sign-on bonus offered Contingencies and restrictions apply.
