laborer position is responsible for clean-up duties and general
labor in the Machine Shop
**Must be able to pass a Pre-Employment

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include
the following. Other duties may be
- 1st Responsibility - Ensuring personal safety
and the safety of your team members.
- Assists supervisors and managers in maintaining
a safe and healthy work environment.
- Wears appropriate PPE which may include fall
protection, respiratory protection, hearing protection, foot, hand,
head and eye protection.
- Uses proper lifting and ergo
- Reads work orders or receives oral instructions
to determine work assignments, material or equipment
- Maintains cleanliness of the machining and
- Empties trash and chip
- Monitors and cleans coolant tanks and
- Uses a push broom, sweeps dust and debris from
assigned areas and discards into receptacle
- Operate tow motor, skid steer, sweeper and
related moving equipment to transport waste and
- ·Notifies supervisor of errors or equipment
- ·Clears equipment at end of operating run and
reviews schedule to determine next assignment.
- ·Wipes down machines
- Helps with snow removal around buildings
and facilities when required.

diploma/GED preferred. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must be
able obtain certifications to drive motorized equipment

add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with
10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using
