We Are Hiring: Come join us at St. Vincent's St. Clair as our Emergency Room Patient Care Technician - -Position: Patient Care Tech, (PCT)Department: Emergency DepartmentLocation: St. Vincent's St. Clair - Pell City, AL Shift: - Full Time - Nights - 6p to 6a - 3/12 hour shifts per week- Rotating Weekends

• Free Parking What You Will Do: Perform basic clinical and non-clinical patient care activities under supervision.
  • Aid with movement and placement of patients.
  • Assist patients with tending to personal care and activities of daily living.
  • Report findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff. Document necessary records.
  • Keep patient rooms clean, orderly, and maintain medical equipment.
  • Perform emergency department specific care/duties as assigned within scope of job. What You Will Need: Licensure / Certification / Registration:
    • BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date.Education:
      • High school diploma or GED required.
