View and Stow Works, OH sites.To perform this job successfully, the
individual must be flexible, adaptable, dependable, reliable and

work environment, materials, and tooling). Machinist must possess
solid communication skills (i.e., oral, written, and listening) and
should be detailed oriented and have good organizational skills.

can expect: Set up and operate, in an efficient timely manner, a
wide range of machine tools, both CNC and manual such as grinders,
mills, lathes, and hones on a diverse range of product involving
difficult operations, aerospace tolerances, and complex shapes.
Machines used at Valley View include HAAS vertical mills, Toyoda
Grinders, Accuturn, Prodigy, Hardinge, and HAAS lathes. Align and
secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories,
or materials onto machines.Modify programs in response to
problems.Work from and read blueprints as well as setting and
checking work to various quality control gages. Monitor product
quality and troubleshoot to determine causes of operating errors
and make decisions to solve any errors.Confer with engineering,
supervisory, or manufacturing personnel to exchange technical
information.Follow all safety requirementsReceive verbal and
written information Record informationUnderstand written
instructions and be willing and able to communicate those
instructions to othersRead process instructions and drawings and
recognize/attend to detailsParticipate in customer audits and
complete the Certified Operator Program (COP), DVV's intensive,
skills-based validation and training program.Participate in
housekeeping and training activities.Audit processes to assure
compliance with quality practices and work instructions throughout
the facilityMonitor production processes and controlling product
processes, obtaining samples, and loading products.Operate mobile
transport equipment.Facilitate corrective and preventive action
related to supplier quality problems and source inspection issues.
In the process, machining associates will issue stop tags/hold tags
where conditions warrant.Maintain quality metrics to facilitate
positive, proactive operational change, Associates may be required
to analyze non-conformance data, escapes, and other sources of data
as well as identify continuous improvement opportunities that help
drive the DVV Continuous Improvement plan, when appropriate. The
following are required:High School Diploma/GED2+ years of machining
experience OR a Machining Technology certificateWilling and able to
work a 12-hour rotating shift based on the specific site
requirementsWilling and able to work overtime (including weekends,
evenings, and holidays) as neededKnowledge of basic mathExperience
in machining composites, metals, and or aluminum extrusionsAbility
to read CNC programsDemonstrated ability to set up and operate
manual and CNC equipmentProficient in shop math, including geometry
and conversionsDemonstrated ability to read blueprints and
understand toleranceDemonstrated ability to use precision
gagesKnowledge of FANUC controlsExcellent problem
solving/troubleshooting skillsExcellent oral and written
communication skillsThe following are preferred:3+ years of
machining experienceCNC machinist certificationKnowledge/experience
in Statistical Process Control*** Please be advised that if you are
hired for our Stow location, you will be required to cross-train at
our Valley View, OH site traveling between the two sites during
training. A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the
ability to work legally in the United States. No visa
sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for

position doesn't offer relocation assistance.Shift Pay:Starting
wages range from $26.79 hourly pay rate. A $2.00/hr. shift premium
is offered to the base pay for rotating shifts. Non-rotating shifts
receive an additional $2.50/hr. between 3:00pm-7:00am.DuPont is an
