This position is an excellent introduction to those developing their interest in Public Services, as well as a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to improve their trade skills and abilities, or to gain a part-time position for the season. Under supervision of the Parks and Recreation Manager, seasonal laborers work in various City parks and athletic fields, ensuring the grounds look great for the summer. They play a vital role in making Birmingham a great place to live, work, and play! Requirements:

• Interested candidates must be able to work outdoors in a maintenance capacity.
  
• Prior Parks & Recreation or Landscaping, or golf course experience is a plus.

  • Pay range of $16.00 - $18.00 per hour, depending on qualifications.
