We are looking for a Mortgage Post Closing Specialist who will be responsible for shipping original documentation on closed loans that have been sold to investors on the secondary market.
Functions and Responsibilities:

• Re-verify all loan documentation for proper signatures, dates, legal descriptions, and other relevant data before shipping to investors.
• Upload all closed loan documentation to investors.
• Upload appraisals to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac on loans sold on the secondary market.
• Register all closed mortgage loans with MERS (Mortgage Electronic Registration).
• Scan recorded mortgages and final title to appropriate folders before overnighting to investors.
• Scan all closed loans to appropriate folder.
• Prepare closing package and conduct final review for compliance.
• Finalize settlement statement (HUD).
• Attend annual BSA training and comply with all BSA, AML & CIP policy and procedures as applicable to the position.
• Responsible for following all BSA/OFAC procedures.
• Activate MI certificates on secondary market loans.
• Produce Post-Consummation CD's and issue refunds as necessary.
• Liaise with borrowers on any post-closing issues.
• Work with USDA, FHA, and VA to insure loans.
• Push loans into Symitar and book portfolio loans using CCMC.
• Prompt and regular attendance required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
  Requirements
  Basic Requirements:
  • Must have excellent written and verbal skills, positive attitude, pleasant demeanor, decisiveness, and professionalism.
  • Knowledge of basic lending including policies, procedures, and guidelines issued by FNMA and FHLMC. Knowledge of all federal and state regulations regarding lending and related departments.Experience: Three years to five years of similar or related experience.
    Education: A high school diploma or GED.
