Job Purpose:The Operations Analyst is responsible for creating, maintaining current and accurate standard operating processes and procedures to support the Property business unit infrastructure including required documentation systems and records.

Accountabilities:

  • Create SOPs and maintain updated documentation
  • Implement robust documentation and tracking system supporting contracts, processes, and procedures
  • Maintain accurate documentation of work processes including limitations, data constraints, and proper usage as well as ensuring solutions are fully validated
  • Training may be required as needed to support the processes and improvements
  • End User Support
  • Operational Support
  • Pursue professional training for development of product knowledge, skills for the role, and personal goals set with leader
  • Responsible for effective operation of internal controls and timely closure of Internal Audit and similar actions
  • In addition to the above key responsibilities, may be required to undertake other duties from time to time as the Company may reasonably require
  • Develop a working knowledge of property insurance
  • Collaborate with various stakeholder in the business unit to create SOPs
    Experience:
    • Prior insurance experience
    • Education - bachelor's degree required,
    • Successful workflow implementation and demonstrated attention to detail
      Knowledge:
      • Computer skills - good working knowledge of Office 365, Teams, and VDI use
        General Skills/Attributes:
        • Ability to simplify, analyze, and explain complex issues by working at both a summary and detailed level
        • Excellent problem-solving, strategic thinking, and solution implementation skills
        • Effective time and projects management skills
        • Strong business and collaboration skills, responsive to service needs and operational demands
        • Ability to review processes and determine opportunities for improvement
        • Ability to manage time and project effectively
        • Demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills.
        • Able to present information to various audiences
