Guide managers in areas of compliance to meet industry standards and regulations, while helping the managers meet their goals and objectives in a timely manner. Be available as a resource for other Compliance Associates and Specialists and work with more complex compliance and regulatory issues.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.1. Work with junior compliance team members to help them perform assigned work. Analyze and evaluate existing procedures, processes, and controls to determine compliance status and system integrity. Document recommended changes to improve operating efficiency and use evaluations of existing procedures to aid in the maintenance of the Audit Template and the Agency information spreadsheet.2. Perform detailed work relating to Market Security, Information Security and Surplus Lines Licensing as it relates to insurance industry compliance and regulatory issues.3. Serve as a consultant to management and be a resource person for questions pertaining to compliance and regulatory issues. Confer with management on compliance requirements and use as a knowledge base the policies and procedures under which BB operates.4. Provide Support to Field Operations and other McGriff Insurance Services departments, as well as any Truist corporate departments that require assistance relating to insurance industry compliance and regulatory issues. Complete assignments as required.5. Continue developing overall knowledge of compliance and regulatory issues using continuing education and professional certification and keeping abreast of current trends, new developments, practices and regulations for insurance industry compliance.6. Train/coach/mentor junior team members to enhance achievement of goals and objectives. Provide training on more complex compliance and regulatory issues.7. Consistently deliver world standard client service and strive to be the "Best of the Best".8. Perform other duties as assigned.Required Skills and Competencies:The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Knowledge of McGriff Insurance Services Automation system3. Property & Casualty License4. Compliance experience of at least three years5. Agency property and casualty experience of at least five years6. Ability to travel including overnight7. Team Orientation8. Strong initiative and willingness to learn9. Good aptitude for learning and basic knowledge of compliance and regulatory concepts10. Client Focused values11. Good interpersonal communication skills12.
