Job Description
AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Transportation/Civil
Engineer for employment in the State of Alabama. Involved with
review and close out of state and/or federal aid construction
projects and assisting clients with seeking solutions which arise
on active construction projects.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited
to:
Assist AECOM and/or client staff with close out of construction
projects including review of testing requirements and records,
final quantities, and pay requests.
Will work closely with project managers and project engineers to
resolve issues with arise in the field on construction
projects.
Travel to job sites, plan review meetings, or other project
specific tasks

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Civil engineering or other related field
required
4 plus years of related transportation civil engineering projects
or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Basic knowledge of client standard drawings, specifications and
construction standards.
Capable of using spreadsheets, word processing, and standard office
software
Preferred Qualifications :
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
PE certification encouraged
Alabama DOT standards knowledge
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time to maximize
efficiency
