Job Description:

A local steel fabricator/erector company is seeking an on-site Construction Project Superintendent with material conveying experience to oversee and manage a construction project located in Central Alabama, OR South Louisiana. The ideal candidate will have experience managing bulk material conveying projects. Successful project completion could lead to additional assigned projects / long-term employment. Daily per diem, housing and car allowance are offered.Responsibilities:- Manage and oversee construction projects from conception to completion- Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors- Review project plans, specifications, and schedules- Ensure projects are completed within budget and on time- Monitor and report on project progress- Communicate with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors- Ensure quality control and safety compliance measures are in place and followedSkills:- Proficiency in construction management software- Strong knowledge of construction estimating and project scheduling- Ability to read blueprints and schematics- Excellent time management and organizational skills- Effective project coordination abilitiesIf you are a detail-oriented Construction Project Superintendent with expertise in managing construction projects within structural steel and/or bulk material handling/conveying efficiently while ensuring quality standards are met, we invite you to apply.Affirmative Action / Equal Opportunity Employer.Qualifications- Experience within steel industry, specifically material handing & conveying structures- Proficiency in construction management software- Strong project scheduling and coordination skills- Experience in construction estimating and management- Ability to read blueprints and schematics- Excellent time management and organizational skills- Familiarity with quality control processes- Knowledge of ProCore, Bluebeam, and Primavera P6- Background in civil engineering or related fieldCompensation package:
