DetailsSign-on bonus: Up to $1000.00Department: OncologySchedule: Weekend Options Days, 2 - 12 hour shifts every weekend, 7am-7pmHospital: Ascension St Vincent's East - TrussvilleLocation: Birmingham, Alabama5 West, Medical/Surgical is a 19-bed unit that cares for a variety of general medical/surgical patients. Diagnoses on 5W vary from pneumonia and COPD to CHF and diabetes. Connect with your Talent Advisor for additional specifics.ResponsibilitiesPerform basic clinical and non-clinical patient care activities under supervision.Aid with movement and placement of patients.Assist patients with tending to personal care and activities of daily living.Report findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff. Document necessary records.Keep patient rooms clean, orderly, and maintain medical equipment.RequirementsLicensure / Certification / Registration:--- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
