The Role This opportunity involves engaging in the early stages and driving product growth of supplyCONNECT, Command Alkons exciting new supply chain software solution. The Application Consultant is primarily responsible for driving customer success and adoption through implementations and support of supplyCONNECT. The Application Consultant will also work with customers to improve their experience with the SAAS service to solve their problems and create value in their organizations and with their trading partners. What you'll do This is both a field and office based role working closely with existing / new customers and prospective clients supporting the implementation of supplyCONNECT and related products at our clients locations. The Application Consultant will be a leading member of the product implementation team and have the responsibility of providing an A Customer Experience through the combination of training customers on the use of the supplyCONNECT product as well as consulting on Heavy Building Materials supply chain best practices You will be the AIR TRAFFIC CONTROLLER between multiple parties including the Command Alkon team, customer and third party organizations. At the direction of the Manager, you will be working closely with the account management and development teams to ensure smooth transition from prospect to a successfully completed project. What you'll bring Bachelors degree in Management, Information Technology, MIS or related field 3 years experience in software process, solution architecture and business process improvement 3 years of experience in the construction materials industry or Command Alkon product experience a plus Who you are Experience implementing innovative software and resolving technical issues. You like to train customers on how to use innovative software to help their business. You love making customers happy and can cultivate customer relationships You enjoy the heavy building materials industry and you enjoy being in the field with users at production facilities and in customers offices You know (or can quickly learn) CAs core systems: COMMANDseries, Integra, COMMANDbatch and Apex Experience with Agile & Scrum product development and project management methodology a plus Ability to understand and communicate value proposition of Command Alkon products and how they impact the customer Technical enough to use/or learn Citrix and other VPN or remote log in tools and familiar with SQL, Oracle, SAP and other ERP and database programs and tools Comfortable presenting in front of large groups Ability to travel overnight up to 50% Perks Motivated and talented coworkers who love to work together in a collaborative environment Work on the ground floor of cutting edge software that is revolutionizing the Heavy Building Materials Industry Be a part of ground breaking innovation and latest technology tools Generous Benefit Package that has paid time off for you to recharge.
