Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores is seeking a dedicated Assistant Manager to oversee the daily operations at one of our bustling locations. This role is pivotal in maintaining our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction, ensuring smooth operations and effective management of staff. The Assistant Manager will work closely under the direction of the Store Manager to foster a welcoming atmosphere for all customers and ensure that the store meets its sales targets. Your leadership will help maintain the store's reputation as a premier travel stop, meeting the diverse needs of professional truck drivers and the general public alike. Supervise daily store operations and manage store associates. Implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty. Assist in the recruitment and training of store staff. Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed. Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws. Manage store budget and financial planning. Prepare detailed reports on buying trends, customer needs, and profits. Coordinate with the Store Manager to develop promotional events or sales activities.
