Birmingham South Oncology is a key area of focus for Bayer. We are

Specialty Consultant - Oncology is responsible for driving the
clinical demand, education and sale of products to medical
oncologists, urologists, including mid-level healthcare
professionals (NPs/PAs) within Oncology and Urology specialties
within institutions (academic and community hospitals) including
cancer centers, free-standing community clinics and treatment
centers.YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe primary responsibilities
of this role, Specialty Consultant - Oncology, are to: Must be able
to demonstrate a mastery of product clinical efficacy, an
articulate a strong value proposition for the customer;Mastery of
clinical and technical knowledge related to oncology;Target,
develop, assess and maintain a thorough understanding of accounts
and key customers while maintaining a high-level Stakeholder
position;Utilize strategic thought process in developing and
maintaining key customer database;Mastery of key account
management, best practices and selling;Liaise with other Bayer
personnel to provide patient and reimbursement support while
exceeding sales goal;Development of exceptionally well-designed
business plans aligned to brand strategic imperatives with resource
allocations that link to Strong business results Demonstrates a
mastery of knowledge and analysis of business, products, technical
issues, and the changing market landscape;Extremely patient focused
with the ability to build and foster a strong positive relationship
with the healthcare Professionals and key opinion leaders that
treat these patients;Exemplifies strong collaboration and teamwork
skills with internal and external stakeholders;Institutional sales
approach; develop a long term plan to activate an account via the
various gatekeepers / influencers and opportunistically;
Pull-through demand generation efforts with prescribers;Adheres to
company and compliance guidelines, policy and procedures.WHO YOU

incumbent who possesses the following:Required Qualifications:BA/BS
degreeExcellent negotiation skills required;Valid driver s license
and clean driving record required;Ability to travel as necessary or
required, which may include overnight and/or weekend
travel;Excellent written and oral communication skills
required;Strong cross functional collaboration skills
required;Passionate and self-motivated individual;Ability to comply
with any customer credentialing and safety requirements (e.g.,
up-to-date vaccinations, trainings).Preferred
Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in a Biological science or related
discipline preferred.Minimum 4-6 +years of pharmaceutical, biotech,
medical selling experience or oncology medical experience (relevant
clinical experience) or marketing equivalent preferredExperience in
launching new products and/or indications preferred;Academic
institution or large oncology account selling and relationships
preferred;Scientific background and understanding of clinical
