Job Description Job Description Sales Manager Location: Remote Residency Requirement: Metro Atlanta GA, Nashville TN, or Huntsville AL Travel: Approximately 6 days per month to Huntsville, AL Compensation: Base $120,000–$150,000 DOE On-Target Earnings up to $300,000 Overview Our VIP client is a fast-growing, private-equity-backed B2B software company operating in the HR and enterprise technology space. Following significant growth and investment, the company is expanding its North American sales leadership team and is seeking a Sales Manager to drive revenue, scale teams, and build a predictable enterprise pipeline. This is a high-impact leadership role for a hands-on, quota-carrying sales leader who thrives in scale-up environments and enjoys building structure without losing momentum. The role is remote, with regular in-person collaboration in Huntsville to stay closely aligned with executive leadership and the sales organization. What You’ll Do You will lead and grow a North American sales team, initially managing a small group of Account Executives with plans to scale. This role blends leadership with execution. You will own a revenue target, personally support strategic deals, and ensure consistent pipeline health and forecasting accuracy. Key responsibilities include driving disciplined weekly operating rhythms, coaching sellers across prospecting, discovery, demos, and closing, and partnering closely with Marketing and RevOps to convert demand into high-quality pipeline. You will also play a critical role in defining scalable sales processes, refining sales methodologies, and helping shape the long-term go-to-market strategy. What We’re Looking For This role is ideal for a monetarily driven, highly competitive sales leader with strong enterprise instincts. You should bring 5 years of quota-carrying B2B SaaS sales experience, including at least 2 years managing sellers. Experience selling into HR, people operations, workforce technology, or adjacent enterprise software environments is strongly preferred. You should be comfortable navigating complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and understand modern sales methodologies, pipeline mechanics, and CRM-driven forecasting. This role requires someone equally effective in the field closing deals and in the boardroom discussing pipeline predictability and growth strategy.
