Job Description:
At Guitar Center, we are committed to helping musicians and
artists pursue their passion. As a Guitar Technician, you'll play a
vital role by ensuring all our string instruments meet the highest
standards of quality and functionality. This position involves
handling detailed repairs, setups, and maintenance to ensure each
guitar we carry performs flawanly on stage or in the studio. The
role requires a mix of technical skills and musical knowledge,
allowing you to work directly on instruments that inspire and
delight our customers. Perform standard guitar setups, adjustments,
and intonations according to specifications. Conduct repairs on a
range of string instruments, addressing structural, cosmetic, or
electronic issues. Manage a workflow of instrument repairs,
prioritizing based on customer needs and turn-around expectations.
Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs, documenting work
done and parts used. Provide excellent customer service, offering
detailed advice and guidance on instrument care and maintenance.
Collaborate with store staff to maintain inventory levels of
necessary repair supplies and parts. Strong foundation in musical
instrument repair, particularly string instruments. Excellent
problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Solid communication
abilities to explain technical details to non-technical customers.
Time management skills to manage a diverse set of tasks with
varying complexity. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
