Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. This opportunity is for a Special Education Teacher to
support K-12 students with diverse learning needs across multiple
schools. The role focuses primarily on self-contained classrooms,
serving elementary, middle, and high school students with various
special education requirements. The position is onsite in
Millbrook, AL, with a contract duration through the current school
year ending May 22, 2026. Key Responsibilities: - Provide
individualized instruction and support tailored to students'
specific learning needs - Manage self-contained classrooms focused
on special education across different grade levels - Collaborate
with general education staff, parents, and specialists to develop
and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) - Monitor
and document student progress and adjust instructional strategies
accordingly - Maintain compliance with special education laws and
district policies Qualifications: - Valid Special Education
Teaching Licensure - Experience working with K-12 students in
special education settings, preferably in self-contained classrooms
- Ability to address a range of disabilities and learning needs -
Strong communication and collaboration skills - Commitment to
creating an inclusive learning environment Location: Millbrook, AL
Onsite Hours: Approximately 37.5 hours per week This role serves
